Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the House of Ascend (“HOA”) website at domain, purchases of sessions or merchandise offered by HOA, making of appointments, use of the HOA shala and any communication with HOA.

Making Appointments

  • Attendance to the HOA shala is strictly by appointment only.

  • If you are new to HOA please log on to to sign the indemnity form.

  • If you already hold a single session or package then please proceed to make an appointment by selecting the date you wish to attend on the schedule on the website and follow the instructions.

  • If a practice or ritual is full on your preferred time and date you can choose to be added to the waitlist.  You will be added in the order of which we receive waitlist requests.  If there are any cancellations of confirmed bookings we will then replace these with persons from the waitlist in that order.

  • Please see the “Purchase of a Session or Package” section for more details on the availability of practices, rituals and waitlists in relation to the validity period of a session or package and charges made.

Cancellation Policy for Appointments

  • If you do not turn up for the appointment that you have made without prior cancellation as set out below you will be charged or session(s) will be deducted if you hold a package.

  • Should you need to cancel your appointment for a practice, it must be done at least two hours prior to the session. 

  • Should you need to cancel your appointment for a ritual, it must be done at least three days prior to the session or you will be charged.

  • If you cancel your appointment, please take note that the price you paid for the appointment is strictly non-refundable.  However, it is transferable for the next practice or ritual - valid for 30 days.

  • You can cancel your reservation by logging on to the MindBody app, selecting the appointment and clicking ‘cancel’.

Late Arrival / Leaving Early

  • Our practice and ritual sessions involve focus and meditation.

  • You must arrive before the start of the session.  The door will be closed once the session has started and no admittance will be permitted afterwards. 

  • Late arrival will be treated as if you did not turn up according to our Cancellation Policy.

  • If you need to leave early please advise the facilitator before the start of the session to avoid disturbing the other participants.

Purchase of a Session or Package

  • Our sessions are available for online purchase via Stripe and MindBody which accepts all major credit cards globally.

  • Packages are valid only for the individual who made the purchase and are non-transferable.

  • Gift-cards are to be redeemed within one month from the day of purchase.

  • Our package are valid for one month for six pack, and three months for twelve pack.   

  • If you hold the six, and twelve packs, you are able to participate for daily practice and monthly ritual.

  • NOTE: Due to high demand, particularly for our rituals, we recommend that you check availability for your preferred dates prior to any purchase. 

  • We cannot guarantee you will get a booking for your desired practice or ritual for any specific date within the validity period of a package.

  • If you choose to go on the waitlist for a particular practice or ritual but do not get in then you will not be charged.​

  • The validity period of either a single session or package remains unchanged regardless of whether you get in on a waitlist.

  • Any session(s) that have expired for less than six months can be rolled only if you purchase either a new six pack or twelve pack. Not applicable if the sessions have been expired for more than six months.

  • All sessions and packages purchases are final and non-refundable.

Extensions of Packages

  • If you are unwell, injured or pregnant and are unable to participate in a practice or ritual we can extend the validity of your session or package subject to sight of a medical certificate stating your condition.

  • Extensions are made solely at our discretion.  Please notify us by emailing to


Sale of Products

  • From time to time, HOA may offer products for sale. 

  • All purchases must be made online.

  • All purchases on products are final and non-refundable.

Lost or Damaged Personal Property

  • HOA is not liable or responsible for any damage, theft, loss, or destruction of personal property within the HOA shala.


Indemnification, waiver and release

  • You hereby acknowledge on behalf of yourself, your heirs, personal representatives and/or assigns, that, despite the care taken by HOA, there are certain inherent risks and dangers when signing up for and/or attending classes, events and any other activities or programs and using the premises, facilities and equipment at HOA. 

  • You acknowledge that HOA will not be liable for any injury or damage should you choose to participate.

  • It is a requirement for you to agree to the indemnity form prior to participating in any practice or rituals offered by HOA.  Please contact if you intend to participate in any practice or rituals and have not filled in the indemnity form.

Complaints and Feedback

  • We pride ourselves in providing you with a great space and experience.  However if you have any complaints or feedback please write to us at stating your name and your complaint or feedback so we can work to address this appropriately.

Intellectual Property Rights

  • The logo, name and all content contained on the HOA website including blog content and any printed material are trademarks and proprietary to HOA.  The use of any materials on the HOA website, including but not limited to distribution or reproduction without the prior written permission of HOA, is strictly prohibited.


Age restriction

  • A parent or guardian must give consent for the purchase of packages and attendance by anyone under 18.

Limitation of Liability

  • HOA will not be liable for any direct, indirect or other consequential damages resulting from your use of the HOA website, purchases you make from HOA, your attendance at and participation of any session or event offered by HOA, communication you have with HOA and your use of the HOA shala.  This includes without limitation, loss of profit, business interruption, loss of programs or other data handled by you or otherwise.

  • All information, goods, services, products and experiences are provided by HOA strictly on an "as-is" basis. No representations and warranties, express or implied, are made by HOA as to the quality and performance of the goods, services, products and experiences.

Choice of Law

  • The Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.


Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

  • By using the Website, purchasing a session or package or product, making an appointment and/or attending any scheduled event at the HOA shala, you signify your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions.  If you do not accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions please refrain from using the Website, purchasing a session or package or product, making an appointment and/or attending any scheduled event at the HOA shala.

  • All terms and conditions are subject to change and by continuing to use the Website, purchasing a session or package or product, making an appointment and/or attending any scheduled event at the HOA shala, you signify your acceptance of any revisions to these Terms & Conditions.
