Sagittarius full Moon & week 3 Mantra syllabus

This month’s full moon on June 17th is influenced by Sagittarius, the wanderer of the zodiac. Sagittarius inspires us to venture to faraway lands to gain experience, and to gather truth and knowledge, for the sake of expanding her consciousness. There are always new truths to learn and new perspectives to incorporate into our understandings. From this expansion, Sagittarius seeks to bring unity to the world through the constant threading together of people, places and things. Sagittarius is always learning and evolving, acting as the student and then the teacher, with no distinction between the two.

The Sagittarius Full Moon is a time for us to expand our horizons, to change our perspective to include alternatives and open our minds to new possibilities. It is also a time to lay down our dualistic tendencies and see the world, and the people in it, as One. In dualism there is separation, where in reality there is only the integrated whole: a collective mind, consciousness and world. You are not separate from the things that happen to you. When we align with this vibration, we trust that we have the power to consciously influence the outcome of our destiny with our present actions, like ripples on a pond. We can trust that everything will work out how it’s meant to be, even in adversity.

Sagittarius urges us to view the broader perspective of our lives, to explore both our outer and inner worlds, and seek out experiences for what they are - direct encounters with the universal energy that comprises everything. During this full moon, explore your patterns of consciousness to see things from a different angle, and you will begin to see the world as Sagittarius does - a wondrous place full of experiences and energies.

This Full Moon, we will be working with the energies of Citrine. Natural Citrine is a premier stone of manifestation, imagination, and personal will. Carrying the power of the sun, it is warm and comforting, energising and life giving. It stimulates the chakras/energy centers like the sunlight of spring, clearing the mind and stirring the soul to action. Its frequency awakens creativity and imagination, and sustains the process of transforming dreams and wishes into tangible form. With its pure yellow energy, Citrine encourages fullness of life, fresh beginnings and new pursuits.

Natural Citrine does not hold or accumulate negative energy, but rather transmutes, dissipates, and grounds it, making it extremely protective for the environment. It works out problems on both the physical and subtle levels, transforming negative thoughts and feelings into positive ones. You may find Citrine at the following stores:

In line with our Mantra-based syllabus, we shall also be chanting a mantra during our Full Moon ritual and the week (June 17th - 23rd) to remind us of the integrated whole: that we are non-separate and of one consciousness. In Sanskrit it is read as,

"Ek Ong Kar Sat Nam Siri Wahe Guru"

 which is translated to:

“The Creator and the Creation are One. This is our True Identity. Our ecstasy of the experience of this wisdom is beyond all words and brings indescribable bliss.”

We shall also be immersed with

"Om Mane Padme Hum"

during the Gong segment of our ritual, a mantra that is commonly translated as:

“The jewel is in the lotus”

According to the Dalai Lama, Om Mani Padme Hum has the power to “transform your impure body, speech and mind into the pure body, speech and mind of a Buddha.” Tibetan culture tells us to deeply know this phrase, to bring it into the very depths of one’s being, is to attain enlightenment.

You can listen to this mantra at your leisure right below. For optimal effect light up an incense and sit tall. Take a deep inhale to the crown pause (hold your breath for a split or full second once you reach to the top of your inhalation). Then, take a long exhale through your mouth to the base of your spine and pause (hold your breath for a split or full second once you reach to the bottom of your exhalation). Repeat 5x and enjoy the blissful mantra.

Harness the powers of the Full Moon, Citrine crystal and our selected mantras on the Sagittarius Full Moon Ritual this month. See you at HOA
